Our blue tit's patience and dedication is nothing short of amazing. She has sat on her nest for countless hours now.

Here's some shots of her doing her thing. And today was warmer (thank goodness) and we noticed she spent more time out of the nest box. 

So today was the 10th day since she laid her last egg (28 April). She has been so dedicated but unfortunately it has been rather cold here over night (6-7 May it was about 1.5C in the back garden overnight). We're hoping she has managed to keep her eggs warm enough through that time.

Today was much warmer, reaching about 18C at one point, and we noticed that our bird spent longer periods outside of her nest box, presumably taking the time to enjoy a bit of fresh air and sunshine (like us all), knowing that the eggs wouldn't be getting too cold.  For example, she spent a 10 and later 13 minute period outside.

No sign of anything hatching yet though.
